DNL Farms Ltd.'s PIG HANDLING videos are by pig handlers, about pig handlers, for pig handlers. Prior to release, they were reviewed by numerous handlers and people who train or supervise pig handlers. The videos have been produced with one purpose in mind - to make life easier for handlers and the animals they work with. As people who have experienced handling difficulties ourselves, we are familiar with the wrong thinking that is behind most pig handling problems. We have made a point of addressing the misconceptions. The videos use real life pig handling situations to explain in detail, pig responses. They identify the specific things handlers are doing that are either creating problems or creating positive results. They show viewers what they need to do to be effective - to get calm, easy pig movement.
